"Bev and Dave are the nicest people, very welcoming and willing to do anything.

Bev’s breakfast was exactly what we wanted! None of this stuffy ‘you must have XYZ’! I fancied poached eggs on toast and hubby fancied bacon sandwich to which was cooked perfectly.

Dave’s evening meal was also very scrummy – the best rice we have had in NZ so far. Our room was bright, comfortable and very clean with a stunning view. We wish Bev and Dave all the best for their new venture and look forward to seeing them again sometime in the future.

On a slightly side point: We booked when the B&B was owned by different people, who didn't have the courtesy to advise that they were selling. Not that this is a major issue as we wouldn’t have cancelled but it would have been nice to have been told by the previous owners."
